White course

FEATURES

The white course is the second portion of the championship round. Coming from the 9 reds, you play in a parkland with flat areas and interesting holes, such as the 7/16 with its pronounced dogleg to the left that embraces a lake, treacherous for the most ambitious tee shots. Hole 9/18 goes up to the green located at the foot of the Club House and surrounded by ancient olive trees.

HOLE 1

Downhill par 4; tee shot made very tight by two bunkers on the right; the best strategy is to place the first shot on the left side to get the best entry to the green, defended by two bunkers that tighten the way.

HOLE 2

Par 5; a lake forces a careful strategy for the second shot towards the very shallow green, defended by two bunkers on the front side.

HOLE 3

One of the most difficult tee shots of the course, with so much water at stake; the strategy depends entirely on the drive, the second shot faces a tight but very long green where it is not easy to judge the right distance.

HOLE 4

A long par 4, all surrounded by trees; first and second shot are very demanding, it is important to be in fairway in order to reach the green in regulation; slightly elevated green, defended by a bunker in front, on the left.

HOLE 5

The longest par 3 of the course, downhill, with a small green and bunker on the whole left side; in case of a mistake, it is important to hit the easier side and get a simpler approach.

HOLE 6

Long and uphill par 4; tee shot very tight between bunker on the left and trees on the right. The second shot is difficult for the complicated lie on the fairway and the long climb; keep the shot to the green preferably on the left, to avoid the difficult bunker on the right.

HOLE 7

Dogleg par 5, tee shot with water in play on the left. The longer players can try to cut and reach the green in two shots, otherwise it is important to place the ball in fairway for a good birdie occasion.

HOLE 8

Difficult par 3; a first accurate shot is key to reach a small green defended by water on the left and bunkers on the right.

HOLE 9

Very spectacular hole, with an uphill climb to the clubhouse, tight tee shot between left and right bunkers. The second uphill shot is made more difficult by the bunker in front of the green, the pin on the left is certainly the most difficult to deal with.
